This painting was inspired by a photograph taken by my cousin one beautiful afternoon with my husband and four year old nephew (he sits on my shoulders in the cherished photo).  My cousin climbed up the rocks without us knowing and captured this beautiful moment.  In this piece I painted only two people with the idea that the viewer could place them into this scene with a friend or loved one.
